I really love the birthday gift my mother gave me. Well, my mother is the best gift giver in the whole world. She really takes time to think about what gift would really suit you, or what give would you really appreciate. As a matter of fact, my mom starts her Christmas shopping at September. She said that she actually needs that span of time in order to make sure that all her gifts are perfectly thought of.
I am really sad to know that my fellow youths are not anymore interested on why the prices of oil rises, or why Africa remains very poor and impoverished, or why the United States of America is experiencing an economic crisis today. They are also not bothered to know more about the war in Iraq, the closed economy of North Korea or the recent civil uprising in Thailand. While the World weeps, my classmates are enjoying their lives within their little cliques and glamorous worlds. This is how life has become unfair and inhumane.
This is not a legacy I want to be part of. That is why I want to create new world for myself, and for the few others who see the necessity of taking part. Although I also like to read Seventeen and Elle, I am not more interested on World Current Events. Knowing how my neighbors are doing makes me feel that I am indeed a part of a bigger whole.
