I was happy to find out that my father had taken care of everything years ago, for when he passed away. He had even paid for the dinner after the funeral and had chosen the menu. I knew that he had been drawing off of the equity from his house to pay for his living expenses. I was thinking that I would have to sell the house to pay it off, but then my father’s lawyer told me that my father had some term life insurance that would cover the amount owed on the house and any other expenses he had incurred.

I knew from that conversation that I needed to get me life in order and start planning for the future, just like my father had done. I guess that you can never be too young to get your life in order for the inevitable. I hope to live as long as my father but you can never be too sure. Since I am a little behind in the game, I am going to get some term life insurance and also some no medical life insurance, so that it will be implemented right away.

The no medical life insurance is going to be my way of getting started quickly and since I have no idea if you need a physical exam to get term life insurance, I can look into it after setting up the first policy.
