ReputationManagers.com Got The Harder Job
I recently was hired by a company that helps businesses and people retain a good reputation or get theirs back, the best that they can. The first company that they helped was one that had recently sold some toys that had been recalled. I know that the company had hired other companies, not just ours. One of them was ReputationManagers.com and we each were in charge of a different form of combating the negative press.
ReputationManagers.com was in charge of flooding the internet with all the positive things that had been done throughout the companies forty plus years in business. While ReputationManagers.com worked on that, my company was in charge of all of the tabloids and hard press that they could get their hands on. For every bad article, we would be placing in two good ones to offset the effects.
ReputationManagers.com seemed to have the toughest job since there were so many online news sources that had picked up the story. Not to mention, every store that had sold it, had to have it on the front page of their website so the public was aware, just in case they had already bought it. I was happy to find out that only four tabloids and three newspapers had reported it, our job was going to be easy.
