When my boss told me that we would have to close our doors to the office, because the economy was so bad, I was very sad. I did not know what I was going to do or how I would pay my bills. I needed to look for a job and find one quickly.
My best friend’s only job is to go to different types of sales and then she sells the stuff she finds on one of those auction sites. She has been doing this for years. She told me that she has sold several of the used pseries servers for thousands, and she only paid a few hundred for them. I wanted to learn more so I called her.
She told me to meet her at this local computer shop, and bring cash. She told me to buy the used bladecenter server that they were selling for a low amount, and she would help me resell it for much more. We put the used bladecenter server up on the auction site on a Monday, and by Wednesday, it was up about two thousand more dollars than what I had paid for it originally.
I could not believe it, my friend had bought another one of the used pseries servers while we were at the computer shop that day, and she also quadrupled her money just like I did. I think that I have found my new job.
